Tell us about your childhood: Well i'm the ONE and ONLY no brothers no sisters got my first radio at the age of 10 and the first station I listened to was 2SM.
I also use too spend a lot of time at my local library listening to music and watching hours of music videos I became hooked on music from a very young age and by 12 I knew that radio is where I wanted to work in one day.
What's your first ever memory? Good Question, Probably when the Queen of England came to Australia back in 1980 to proclaim Bankstown a City on her walk down to the town hall I was in the crowd wearing a gold crown that mum & I made out of cardboard and she said it was a very nice crown and I was a cute little boy.
What record most reminds you of your youth? Kids In The Kitchen - Current Stand (Revised). After much further thought about
this question this is the true answer, this Aussie band was the very first I ever saw live in Concert at Bankstown RSL Club way back in 1985 it was a Saturday afternoon (No Saturday afternoon or Sunday shopping) in those days the concert started at 2:30pm and the Auditorium was packed.
The Second band I ever saw live was Dragon also back in 1985.
Pity Kids in the kitchen never won a Countdown Award how ripped off could you feel?.

Do you have any recurring dreams or nightmares? Not any more used to when I was younger.

What couldn't you live without? Honestly and probably the most obvious music and Wild Turkey & Coca-Cola.

Do you have any irrational fears? Not that I'm aware of.

Do you believe in God? Yes but I don't believe that they only way to heaven is by going to church every Sunday as long as you believe you're in.

Do you believe that there's life on other planet? Of course, I had McDonald's with E.T. lol no seriously I do believe there is life somewhere in some galaxy maybe not ours but somewhere.

Finally, tell us something we don't know about you: I like to be alone as I live by myself. I live a quite simple happy life, enjoy a few bourbon and cokes and couldn't be happier. I would like to have a girlfriend again one day so any ladies interested e-mail me.

Ambitions: To present Retro Rewind on a commercial station or National Network one night a week (Thanks to Barry Bissel for this very dream) and have it networked around Australia Maybe the Classic hits network or on the Vega stations in Sydney and Melbourne.
Maybe I can help 2MMM regain some former glory.

How Did Retro Rewind start here in Sydney
Well Retro Rewind started by chance actually. One Day Back in January 1998 I was sitting in the second studio of 2GLF 89.3 FM when I was asked to fill in for another retro show called "Nice To Be With You" (the title was taken from a song by a group called Gallery) which is a sucky name if you ask me, which was on Tuesday afternoons from 2pm - 4pm. Anyway after 6 weeks the powers that be approached me and asked if I would like the gig permantly and I could rename the show.

Retro Rewind then started in March 1999 on 2GLF 89.3 FM. Originally a 2hour format consisting of 30mins of the 80's and 30mins of the 70's each hour plus listener's live requests. In January 2001 Retro Rewind began at 2MCR 100.3FM every friday afternoon in an expanded 3hour format and saw the introduction of the "Classic Countdown" and "Name That Theme" which have proved very popular with the audience.

Retro Rewind ended its highly successful first season on 2MCR 100.3FM on Friday the 24th of May 2002. And 3 weeks later wrapped up the first highly successful season on 2GLF 89.3FM on Tuesday 18th of June 2002.
